Active Avalanche Problems

No recent activity has been reported. If you're out in the hills, don't hesitate to add a public observation to our site. It all helps, thanks Often cloudy, chance of a shower late afternoon. The freezing level around, 2400 m. Winds will remain light. Certainly, for a time this morning. Care will be required.
The melt/freeze process continues. Day temperatures continue to be warm. Many N facing aspects are becoming devoid of snow. Elsewhere, the pack quickly becomes unsupportive and rotten. Expect all aspects will transition to isothermic conditions. Another warm day may see an active period of avalanches from glide cracks. Finding anything supportive to climb or ski, will be difficult. Perhaps a period before lunch where conditions will be at the best for those seeking a few turns.
