No recent activity reported. Some roller balling on N facing aspects. Mainly cloudy. Rain/snow in the western ranges, moving across our region tonight. Winds from the NW increasing to gale strength during the morning. The freezing level at 1900 m. Slick conditions may be encountered under a light dusting of snow. Be prepared, you could be surprised of hard icy snow below 1600 m. Caution required in and around steep terrain.

The warming trend continued yesterday with loose wet activity on N facing aspects. Polar aspects remaining cold. Expect a light crust on sunny aspects after another frosty night. Start zones and steep entries are places where any remaining loose snow will be forming wind-slab conditions today. Gale strength winds forecast as an active front approaches our region. Remember, many hidden hazards sit just below a thin snowpack.
