No avalanche activity reported recently. Wet slides (Loose Wet and Glide) are likely to have occurred over the past few days. If you see evidence of avalanches in the back country please enter a public observation.  Cloudy with isolated showers PM. Light Westerly winds - 45kph developing at night. Freezing level - 2400m.  In Spring be prepared for variable surface conditions. Icy melt/freeze crusts may be encountered especially, in the morning.  Carrying ski crampons and/or an ice axe and crampons is a good idea.

A thin (melt/freeze) crust may have formed overnight. The underlying snow pack is currently soft as the result of recent rainfall and high freezing levels (at least 1900m since Monday 3/11).
