There is some snow cover on the south and eastern aspects at upper elevations still. Western aspects are mainly devoid of snow due to wind scouring. Lower and mid elevations have no snow cover. A forecast of mixed rain and snow with a very high freezing level means loose, wet avalanche danger may be possible where sufficient snow exists.
