No recent observations of avalanche activity.  Please use the public obs for any reporting or photos to share across the alpine community  Westerly winds to remain strong leading into the weekend with warm days and cool nights.  Mainly fine over the next couple of days with showers returning to the mountain on the weekend. Firm conditions early morning and late afternoon as the wet snowpack freezes. Watch overnight temps as an indicator for how good the freeze is.

A firm isothermic snow pack exists across the mountain.  This means firm surface conditions in the early and late hours of the day, thanks to the cold overnight temperatures.  Surface conditions may lose cohesion in the heat of the day combined with heat and possible precip in the changing weather.
