Forecast Snow Stability: A steady thaw at all altitudes; however, there will be potential for redistribution of lying snow. Unstable windslab will be present on North-West through North to South-East aspects above 900 metres. Areas most affected will be in steep locations such as gully exits, coire rims and convexities. Remaining cornices will become progressively unstable, potentially triggering slopes below. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: It is expected to be dry throughout the forecast period. Strong Southerly winds will increase to gale force and back to become South-South-Easterly. Turning milder during the night as the freezing level rises to well above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with fresh South-Westerly winds. The freezing level rose to 1000 metres by midday. ObservedSnowStability: Widespread accumulations of unstable windslab are present on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. These accumulations are more localised on North-West to North aspects and on steep banks and burn lines below 900 metres. On these aspects cornices are fragile. The avalanche hazard is Considerable.
