Greatest instabilities will be mainly on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 meters. Cornices above similar aspects will become unstable and prone to collapse. ObservedSnowStability: Unstable windslab exists the greatest accumulations are in wind sheltered areas mainly above 900 metres particularly in sheltered gullies and on steep slopes with a NW, N, NE, E and SE aspect. Fragile cornices exist above similar aspects. Cross loading may affect other wind sheltered locations. Wind exposed slopes are firm and often icy with better stability. The avalanche hazard is Considerable.
